The story behind Savara Intimates' prosthesis bra began with an unexpected demand. After an interview about our lingerie collection, we received a surge of emails from women seeking prosthesis lingerie. At that time, we didn’t have a prosthesis bra in our range, but these requests sparked my interest and led me to explore this niche further.

What I discovered was both surprising and disappointing. The existing prosthesis lingerie options were limited, outdated, and not sustainable. As someone passionate about offering lingerie for ALL women, I felt a strong urge to address this gap. The idea of creating beautiful, modern, and sustainable lingerie for women who have been through significant challenges was incredibly compelling.

Driven by this motivation, I embarked on a new project: designing a prosthesis bra that was not only functional but also stylish and eco-friendly. I began by speaking with two women who both use breast prostheses. Their feedback on the difficulties they faced with existing products and their desires for a prosthesis bra were invaluable to the design process.

Armed with their insights, I developed an initial prototype. This sample was tested for a week by one of the women I interviewed. Her enthusiastic response confirmed that I was on the right track. She was particularly pleased with the comfort and look of the bra, which was a significant step in perfecting the design.

I am incredibly proud of the result and hope that this prosthesis bra meets the needs and expectations of all women searching for such a product. It is my way of contributing to their confidence and well-being by offering something both beautiful and functional.
